Terms of service
Last updated 6 November 2026
These terms apply when you use binkly: the wallet and checkout as a shopper, or the dashboard and API as a business. By using binkly you agree to them, so please read them.
1. The service
binkly lets shoppers save payment details and pay stores in one tap, and lets businesses accept those payments. binkly is not the seller of anything you buy: the store is responsible for its products, delivery, returns and customer service.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep access to your email and your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account until you tell us it may be misused.
- Only add payment methods you are allowed to use.
3. Paying with binkly
When you confirm a payment you authorise binkly and our payment partners to charge the payment method you chose for the amount shown. Refunds are decided by the store and go back to the original payment method.
Cards saved at a store. If you ask to save a card at a store, that store’s payment company keeps it and binkly keeps a reference to it. You authorise that store to charge it when you pay there again and for any subscription you start there. You can remove it from your wallet at any time, after ending any subscription paid with it.
One-tap payment. If you turn on one-tap payment for a store, paying from that store’s binkly button charges the saved card after a short countdown, without a further confirmation, up to the limit shown when you turned it on. You can stop a payment during the countdown and turn one-tap payment off at any time in your wallet.
4. Businesses
- Test mode is available immediately. Live payments start only after binkly reviews and approves the business.
- Businesses must describe what they sell honestly, follow the law and card network rules, and not sell prohibited goods or services.
- Fees are those shown in the dashboard or agreed in writing, and are invoiced monthly. Payment providers charge their own fees under the business’s contract with them.
- binkly may pause live payments or close an account to prevent fraud, meet legal duties or protect customers. We will explain why when we are allowed to.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use binkly for anything illegal, to commit fraud, to test stolen cards, to interfere with the service, or to access accounts or data that are not yours.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep binkly available and secure, but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may change or improve the service, and will give notice of changes that significantly affect you.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, binkly is not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by stores, payment partners or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
8. Ending the service
You can stop using binkly at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Records we must keep by law are kept after closure.
